Zanth watched her for a long moment. "I don't... want to go back..." he said quietly.

Rosalia studied him before hugging him around the neck tightly. "That's arlight. You can just stay here with me." She whispered gently. She gripped him tightly, unwilling to let go.

Zanth looked down as she hugged him. He knew he was abandoning his duty, his entire race and their war for a better life but... he was sick of it all. He nodded a little, making his choice, and hugged her gently.

Rosalia leaned back to look him in the eyes. She smiled softly. "It's alright here." She whispered softly, before leaning forward and placing a soft kiss where his lips might be.

Zanth blinked, surprised. But he couldn't pull away from her. The contact felt amazing... even if he was a little confused about how to return it.

Rosalia moved her lips a little. She couldn't stop this contact. Even if he wasn't moving with her, he encouraged him slowly. She...had never kissed anyone before, so it was hard to tell if she was even doing this right.

Zanth closed his eyes, and tried to copy some of what she was doing, moving his lips. Hesitantly, he slipped his clawed hand down her side, pulling her closer.

Rosalia let him pull her closer, and slowly, she heard thunder. She smiled softly at her symbolic approval and wrapped her arms around his neck...
This had to be the reason why the Gods had sent her after him. They knew his company would be wiped out. That he couldn't go back...that she was supposed to be here for him and...they knew that Rosalia herself was lonely. Weak and in need of someone strong and willing to protect her. What more could she ever ask for but a Charr?

Zanth pulled back from the kiss, but he hugged her closer against him, closing his eyes tightly. "Thank you," he whispered.

Rosalia fell into Zanth and closed her eyes, listening to the new rain. "Thank you..." She whispered instead. She really couldn't thank him enough. Thank him for protecting her....thank him for saving her in more ways then the obvious...

Zanth smiled a bit at that, holding her tight. "Are you feeling alright?" he asked quietly.

"I'm feeling wonderful." She whispered softly, and slowly. She hugged him tighter. "How are you feeling?" she had to ask.

Zanth nodded a bit. "I'm fine," he said quietly. "I should fix your window though."

Rosalia smiled and laughed a little. "Sure, Zanth." She whispered. "I'll make lunch." She kissed him one last time before getting up and mvoing into the kitchen.

Zanth got up and walked outside, getting to work on the window. He couldn't believe she had kissed him... especially like that. He licked his lips and thought he could even taste her.
