Temple of Death

Entry in Timeline: 1376 DR

Traveling with my new companions Marchio recommends we go to a newly discovered temple near the former site of the Tower Adamant. Traveling at night we avoid the plume patrols searching for poor travelers upon the road.

As we travel through the fens and bogs we soon come upon the remains of Adamant Tower home of a terrible lich of awesome might, we head to the left of the tower to a newly revealed stairway leading downward, The Cloister of Myrkul.

We are soon traveling through the many halls undead beyond count assaults us as we travel level by level the archer and priest make short work of many undead and I also contribute to the cleansing of this place.

Traveling to the lowest pit of this dark place we soon come upon the master and with Prayer, Art, and Arms we soon defeat our foe; within the temple we come across a vast array of wealth tempted to take as much as I can carry I only take a goblet of amazing beauty.

We soon travel to the surface fighting as we go and soon the cool sweetness of fresh air is a welcome feeling. We soon camp and as I study the Goblet I remember a scroll of legend lore that I use on the goblet.

Many images flash in my mind, a man holding the goblet while it bubbles and fills with sweet smelling nectar. I soon know what we have a old item but potent able to command fire and lighting and summon forth healing draughts in its day it was known as “The Goblet of Never ending nectar”.

Marchio ask if I would want to keep the Goblet and I tell him it should go to those that are able to best benefit those with its powers. It’s soon given to our female traveling companion after she won it from Marchio in a bet.
