FantasyRole Member Rights and Privileges

By joining FantasyRole a player/member does not lose their rights as an individual. This means that once a person logs onto the site that they are considered to be more then capable of making their own decisions and to be respected for the decisions they make. As well as having their own beliefs and favourite genres, styles of role-play etc.

By joining FantasyRole, they join a community of people with the same rights.

I. Information and Disclosure
FantasyRole members have the right to receive accurate, easily understood information to help them make informed decisions about their gaming options, both on the site and group levels. So that members can make informed gaming decisions.

FantasyRole members have the right to create any genre of character, group etc. on the site. (Examples of genre include Medieval, Fantasy, Modern, Futuristic, Pirate, Detective, Mystery, Anime, Religious etc.)


IV. Participation in Decisions
FantasyRole members have the right and responsibility to fully participate in all decisions related to their site usage and gaming developments. FantasyRole members who are unable to fully participate in decisions which affect them specifically, have the right to be represented by another whom should be named prior to the discussion.


V. Respect and Non-discrimination
FantasyRole members have the right to considerate, respectful treatment from all members of the community at all times and under all circumstances. An environment of mutual respect is essential to maintain a quality community. FantasyRole members must not be discriminated against during enrolment practices based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, age, mental or physical disability, sexual orientation, genetic information, or finances.


VI. Confidentiality of Information
FantasyRole members have the right to communicate with Administrators, Group Owners, and Moderators in confidence and to have the confidentiality of their individual identifiable information protected.


FantasyRole members also have the right to review and copy their own records and request amendments to their records if they can not do it themselves.


At no time will any Administrator or Moderator solicit a member, or use member information in any way deemed unlawful, or unethical. FantasyRole does not sell any collected information (including ISP or e-mail addresses) to any third party.


Nor may members collect such site information to be used in any other purpose then to role-play with like-minded individuals. Member collection and usage of information on the site is prohibited to be used to create email or other lists of information to be used by any organization. Including publication without express permission of all the authors of such information.


VII. Complaints and Appeals
All FantasyRole members have the right to a fair and efficient process for resolving differences with Administrators, Group Providers, and the members that serve them, including a rigorous system of review and an independent system of external review.


VIII. Member Responsibilities
In a gaming system or host site that protects members' rights, it is reasonable to expect and encourage members to assume reasonable responsibilities. Greater individual involvement by members in the care and evolution of the site increase the likelihood of achieving the best outcomes and helps support improvement and an enjoyable environment. You as a member can make a significant contribution in these key areas:



IX. Lack of Site Interference
All FantasyRole members have the right to lack of interference by site administrators and moderators in regards to your means or method of role-playing, choice of genre, choice of groups etc. except where stated in the Site Privileges (below).


X. Copyright/ Ownership of Material
All FantasyRole members are considered to own the written, conceptual and image material of their manufacture. These works are considered to be copyrighted and may not be used by any other party without the express written permission of the party which created such material. Such works may not be used in part or in whole. Materials of manufacture by non-site members may not be placed upon the site without such written permission.



Site Privileges

Site Administrators reserve the right to judiciously remove all excessive sexual content in written form not considered fit for public audiences. So as to maintain the adult conspiracy and to assure parents that the Fantasy Role community is not a nesting place for pornography. This rule however does not extend to tasteful genre artwork. Yet does include images of Hentai, Manga etc that shows the nude form in manners not fit for public audiences. FantasyRole as well reserves the right to remove and ban any individuals found to be acting as sexual predators, reporting such individuals to the proper authorities and purging all such materials on the site of that individuals manufacture.




Group Privileges

Groups are autonomous or considered the domains or nations of their owners and moderators. As such they retain the right to create rules and procedures of their own creation. However these may not interfere with any member rights.




Player Character Privileges

FantasyRole members have the right to create as many Characters as they desire without limit. However Members is clearly a marked difference from Characters. All Characters will be treated as befitting situation, involvement, and in the case of being the member of a group, under the direct decision of that groups' rules and policies.

Members, unless the right is waived, still retain the right as to what may occur with their character. Such as death, wounds or any non-present interaction.

Before joining a group it is wise to read if available their rules and codes of conduct. Groups do not have the right to modify the character profiles of characters in their groups.
